The AmeriKick Organization, started in 1964 by Dennis Tosten.

AmeriKick Karate Studios is one of the oldest karate organizations in the United States. Sensei Dennis has been a Black belt for over 30 years and is currently an 10th degree Black Belt in American Kenpo. Sensei Dennis is a nationally rated sport karate tournament competitor and has earned numerous titles and awards both in and out of the Martial Arts world.

6 Time World Champion

Sensei Nick is a 3rd degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate and has been with AmeriKick for 12 years.  Nick holds 6 NBL World Championship Titles and is the Head Instructor and General Manager of the Delran Studio.

Nick is a certified Aerobic Kickboxing Instructor,  and is trained in modern Arnis, Knife defense, and Wushu.  Nick is the head coach of the Delran Demonstration "Demo" Team and enjoys creating new and exciting forms to showcase his studio's most talented students.

His dedication to sport karate and commitment to excellence is what makes him a great competitor, dedicated leader, and fine martial artist.

   

Miss Diane Myles

Diane Myles is a kickboxing instructor of AmeriKick with 17 years of fitness and teaching experience.  She has starred in many fitness commercials and advertisements.   Diane has an extensive list of fitness credits including:

  • Kickboxing Instructor

  • Group Fitness Instructor

  • Personal Trainer

  • Member of ECA World fitness Alliance

  • AAAI Certification in Mat Pilates

  • Powerstrike Worldwide Association certification in Forza (sword training for group fitness participants)

Miss Luann Perdunn

Studio Manager

The AmeriKick Delran Studio was opened by the Perdunn family in 1994.  Luann Perdunn is the Owner of the Delran Studio, but her "job" does not end there.  Here is the short list of her responsibilities:

  • Program Director, coordinating program activities within the studio and community events

  • Studio merchandise manager, ordering all of the karate supplies (uniforms, weapons, t-shirts),  and discovering new safety products for the students

  • And she is a full-time mom.

You name it and she does it - from her family to the studio, Luann’s commitment to excellence can be seen everyday in everything she does, just ask her son Sensei Nick.....or the scores of kids in the studio that call her Miss Luann.

   

Sensei Jamel Morgan-Knight

 

Junior Black Belt

Co-Captain of the Championship Delran Demo Team

Sensei Jamel has been studying martial arts for more than 7 years and is a motivated member of our teaching staff. He currently holds the rank of Black Belt and has trained in Kenpo and Capoeira Karate.

Jamel, a top ranked Point Sparrer, is the co-captain of the Championship Delran Demonstration Team and has been trained in the Katana and Bo Staff. 

Sensei Jamel is currently in high school where he enjoys playing football and basketball and plans to pursue a degree in graphic design.

   

Sensei Tom Hunter

 

1st Degree Black Belt Student Leadership Program Coordinator

 

Sensei Tom began his martial arts training in the Fall of 2000. He received his red belt in early 2005 and began assisting in teaching the adult and children's classes at that time. He received his 1st degree black belt in May of 2006 and is currently instructing the adult program while continuing to assist in the children's curriculum. He is also the coordinator for our Student Leadership Program.

 

Tom's son and daughter are members of the Champion Delran Demo Team. His daughter received her junior black belt in May of 2005 and his son is progressing towards testing in the Spring of 2007.

 

Tom is also active in the Delran community, coaching several youth sports teams and he also continues to play Semi-pro baseball.
